about

The Hills Are Alive is the first album for the Not-So-Big Band. The band was formed in 2017 by Toshi Clinch as a new initiative to bring up and coming students together with professional musicians. Each month the band performed a concert with new arrangements by Clinch, where he would rearrange popular music of today for the 9 piece band. Some of the themes included: A New Take on Disney, Musicals Rediscovered, A Tribute to the Greats, and Shaken Not Stirred. This album is the culmination of the 2017 lineup and features a mixture of pieces from these concerts.
